To gain a pan-European consensus regarding the tapering and cessation of thrombopoietin receptor agonists (TPO-RAs) in immune thrombocytopenia (ITP), a three-phase Delphi method, including an initial round of individual interviews and two online survey rounds, was executed. Three healthcare professionals (HCPs) from Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom composed the Steering Committee (SC), which provided direction on survey development, study design, and panelist selection. A literature review provided crucial input for the formulation of the consensus statements. Using Likert scales, quantitative data were gathered reflecting the panelists' level of concordance. A panel of twelve hematologists, representing nine European nations, critically examined 121 statements, categorized under three headings: (1) patient selection; (2) tapering and discontinuation protocols; (3) post-discontinuation follow-up. Approximately half of the statements in each category garnered a consensus, amounting to 322%, 446%, and 66% respectively. Non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI) is a common occurrence among dissociative individuals, affecting up to 86% of this group. Research shows that individuals who dissociate often employ NSSI as a means of managing the combined effects of post-traumatic and dissociative experiences and their related emotional distress. Despite the commonality of non-suicidal self-injury, no quantitative study has investigated the characteristics, methods, and purposes of NSSI within the context of dissociative disorders. Among dissociative individuals, this study examined the dimensions of NSSI, along with potential predictors that influence the intrapersonal functions of NSSI. Of the 295 participants included in the sample, a number indicated the presence of one or more dissociative symptoms and/or a diagnosed history of a trauma- or dissociation-related disorder. Utilizing unadjusted and adjusted models, researchers investigated participant demographics, barriers to care, visit modalities (telehealth or in-person), and the subspecialties of care provided.
